Before Log in Trenta, we head past the barrier along the road to Planina Lepoč and follow the signs for Zasavska Koča at Prehodavci. Above Planina Lepoč, which is actually a plain overgrown with spruces, we must watch not to miss the unmarked path to the left leading to Planina Trebiščina. Here in summer months we might encounter a viper. At the Planina from the buildings slightly left and at the cairn (junction) we turn right uphill where we continue on a poorly visible trail. Then it's all by nose where the trail should run from the time of the Rapallo Border. Rarely does anyone go this way. Just a little before the summit we come across old military buildings, then we have to push through the ruins to the summit.
