Aljažev dom v Vratih - Rž (via Prag)

Access to starting point:
We drive to Mojstrana, then follow the signs for Vrata Valley. We continue along the toll road, which is closed to public traffic in winter, following it to the large parking lot located a few minutes before Aljažev dom v Vratih.

Path description:
From the parking lot we continue along the gravel road closed to public traffic, passing Šlajmerjev dom and quickly reaching Aljažev dom v Vratih.
We bypass Aljažev dom on the right and continue straight on the path towards Triglav, Sovatna, Luknja... (right Škrlatica, bivouac on Rušje...). We continue along the poorer gravel road, which takes us past the winter room to the marked junction at the famous peg (monument to fallen partisan climbers).
We continue straight again (left Tominškova pot) as the gentle path leads us with beautiful views of Triglav and the Triglav North Face. After a few minutes of walking we reach a beech forest, where the path over Sovatna branches off to the right, but we continue straight towards Luknja and Triglav - the path over Prag. A short ascent on the cart track follows, then the markers direct us left onto the path that approaches the bed of Triglavska Bistrica. Here the path takes us past the memorial to mountain victims, and a little further we reach the next marked junction.
Straight ahead the path continues to Luknja, but we go left towards the path over Prag, where the path first leads us across the Triglavska Bistrica stream (slightly higher is the source of Bistrica).
On the other side of the stream we quickly reach the first steep section, where the first pegs assist us, after a few minutes the difficulty eases, and we continue steeply ascending, with increasingly beautiful views of the other side of the valley from the path.
This section of the path is partly overgrown with brushwood, higher up safety gear reappears and soon we reach probably the most difficult part on the path over Prag, where with the help of brackets and cables we climb almost vertical 15-meter chimney. The path ahead gradually becomes easier again and Tominškova pot joins from the left, a few steps further we reach Begunjski studenec.
We continue steeply ascending, the path technically not demanding in this section, after about 15 minutes of further walking we reach the next junction near Kotel.
We continue left towards Staničev dom pod Triglavom (slightly right Triglav and Triglavski dom na Kredarici) and through the high mountain karst terrain we bypass the Kotel valley on the left side, the path leads us along fissures and dolines, so extra caution is needed especially in fog and snow, otherwise the path is technically not demanding here. Higher we traverse up over a short scree slope, then reach the plateau terrain, and with beautiful views of Triglav and surrounding mountains we ascend to Dom Valentina Staniča.
We continue sharply right towards Triglav and Triglavski dom na Kredarici (left Begunjski vrh, Cmir and Visoka Vrbanova špica, straight dolina Kot, right Rjavina via ridge path and dolina Krma) the path soon turns slightly left and continues south towards nearby Rž. When we reach the screes below Rž the path turns right and traverses up over the screes, where later a passage to the summit of Rž opens to the left.
We head towards the mentioned passage, following the faint trail. The small path that branches left from the marked path takes us after a short steep ascent over scree and higher a small gully to the ridge of Rž. Here we continue left and follow the "path" along and occasionally beside the ridge to the summit of Rž.
In the upper part cairns help us find the passages, in the lower part they are often toppled due to avalanches.
