Along the road Vojsko - Nova Gorica over Škrbina to the starting point at Anina koča, 1230 m.
Route description:
To the starting point (Anina koča) on the macadam road. At Anina koča go left onto an unmarked trail. The trail is easy to follow at the beginning; after a few dozen meters it disappears, but it is soon found again. It winds in zigzags up a quite steep slope. At the saddle there is a junction. Left, the trail descends and leads along the ridge towards Golaki; right, it soon disappears into pathless terrain. Uphill, go along the ridge to Smrekov vrh. On it is an Austro-Hungarian boundary marker, so we know where we are. The peak offers no view because it is overgrown with low beech trees. In summer, when it is still full of leaves, there is no view at all. For the return, use the same path as for the approach, because otherwise you can get lost in the overgrowth.
