Path description:
From the starting point, we continue right on a side road which is closed to public traffic. We soon get to a smaller crossroad, where we continue straight (left road ends on slopes of Tomanova planina), and then the path brings us by the upper edge of the nearby pasture, from where a beautiful view opens up towards hills above the Tuhinjska Valley. Behind the pasture, we continue on the left upper road, and then at the smaller crossroad straight. A little further, the forest ends and we get to the upper edge of a larger panoramic hayfield, from which a view opens up on the surrounding hills.
A few strides before we step on the mentioned slope, straight ahead continues the cart track, on which we will continue too (further on the road Ovčje jame). After a short ascent, we get to a junction of several cart tracks, and we continue slightly left, on the cart track which continues ascending. Further on there follow quite a few junctions, and we intuitively choose those branches where the path ascends the most. Behind the last junction on the mentioned section, there follows a short descent, then we bypass the nearby sinkhole, behind which we ascend to the saddle between Podbevška peč and Seduc.
On the mentioned saddle, where there is also a cross with a logbook, we reach a marked path which leads from the pass Črnivec towards Menina planina, and we follow it to the right. A little further, we step on another cart track, from which occasionally some view opens up towards the north. The cart track narrows a little further into a wide path, which soon joins the next cart track, on which we quickly get to a pasture fence, behind which we step onto the pasture areas of the nearby mountain pasture. The path ahead continues with some shorter ascents and descents and through pastures and forest brings us to the eastern edge of Planina Ravni, where a shepherd hut stands.
From Planina Ravni we continue in the direction of Dom na Menini planini and Planina Travnik. The path ahead slightly ascends and quickly enters the forest, through which it then continues for some time. Somewhat further, we join a wide cart track, on which we soon emerge from the forest. When we emerge from the forest, we step onto the western part of Planina Travnik, across which we then walk to the shepherd hut on the other side of the mountain pasture. A poorly visible footpath leads us there, crossing the mountain pasture.
From the hut we continue past the nearby cross and bell, behind which the marked path turns right. There follows a pleasant walk on the path which first gently, then moderately ascends across extensive pastures. Higher up the path enters the forest, where it gradually begins to descend. The path soon starts ascending again and brings us to a macadam road, which we follow to the right. We walk for a few minutes on the mentioned road, then the marks direct us right onto a footpath which moderately ascends through dense forest. Higher up we cross the road once more and the path gradually brings us to the pastures of Menina planina. With some shorter ascents and descents we continue on the pleasant path, to which after a somewhat longer descent also joins the path from Gornji Grad (path past Jespe).
We continue right in the direction of Dom na Menini planini, on the path which crosses a strip of forest, then brings us to the parking lot near the already mentioned mountain hut. From the parking lot we continue across the meadow and the path, from which a beautiful view opens up on the chain of Kamniško-Savinjske Alpe, quickly brings us to Dom na Menini planini.
Starting point - Planina Ravni 1:35, Planina Ravni - Planina Travnik 30 minutes, Planina Travnik - Dom na Menini planini 2:00.
