Path description:
From the starting point we continue right onto a side road that is closed to public traffic. Soon we arrive at a smaller junction, where we continue straight ahead (the left road ends on the slopes of Tomanova planina), then the path takes us along the upper edge of the nearby pasture, from where a beautiful view opens towards the hills above the Tuhinjska Valley. After the pasture we continue along the left upper road, then straight at the smaller junction. A little further the forest ends and we arrive at the upper edge of a larger scenic hay meadow, from which a view opens onto the surrounding hills.
A few steps before stepping onto the mentioned slope, a cart track continues straight ahead, which we also follow (further along the Ovčje jame road). After a short ascent we arrive at a junction of several cart tracks, where we continue slightly left onto the cart track that continues ascending. Further on there are several more junctions, where we intuitively choose those turn-offs where the path climbs most steeply. After the last junction on this section there follows a short descent, then we bypass the nearby sinkhole, after which we ascend to the saddle between Podbevška peč and Seduc.
At the mentioned saddle, where there is also a cross with a logbook, we reach a marked path leading from the Črnivec pass towards Menina planina, which we follow to the right. A little further we step onto another cart track, from which we occasionally get some views to the north. The cart track narrows a little further into a wide path, which soon joins the next cart track, along which we quickly reach a pasture fence, beyond which we enter the grazing areas of the nearby mountain pasture. The path continues with some shorter ascents and descents, taking us across pastures and through forest to the eastern edge of Planina Ravni, where the shepherd's hut stands.
