Bidrovec - Planinarski dom Gorščica (path 25)

Access to starting point:
We leave the Zagreb-Varaždin highway at the Sesvete, Dugo Selo exit. We drive to Sesvete and then continue to Zagreb.
We leave the Dubrava road, which runs through the eponymous part of Zagreb, at a large intersection and turn right towards Miroševec (at that intersection there is McDonald's and a large INA gas station).
We then drive north towards the Miroševec cemetery (along the road there are two roundabouts, where we follow the signs for the cemetery). After the cemetery, we go through the Grad mladih park and arrive in the town of Miroševec.
We follow the main road only and at the end of the settlement (the beginning of Trnava is not marked) we reach the next roundabout, from which we go straight. We arrive in the village of Popovec (this village is not marked by a sign either) and park at the smaller intersection just before the place where the road begins to ascend steeply.
The starting point is quite hard to find. I recommend using navigation.

Path description:
From the parking lot in Popovec we go ahead; the orientation is easy because Mačkova Pečina is visible below the summit Pečovje. At the inn we go left uphill into Površnica street. We soon arrive at a junction, where path 24 branches off to the left, but we go right and then right again (the junctions are well marked). The asphalt will soon end, and the path that goes past some holiday cottages flattens.
After the last holiday cottage, which is also the most interesting, we enter the forest. After entering the forest, a path branches off almost imperceptibly that goes over the peaks Pečovje and Oštrec, but we go straight.
We continue on a gently sloping path, to which the path from the village Vidovec joins from the right.
After the junction the path becomes somewhat steeper, and the ground more rocky. There follows a section of the path with several forks and shortcuts, but the path is mostly well marked. The path then leads us past the spring Vitelniški zdenec, where we can refresh ourselves or get water.
After the spring we continue on a steeper path; after a few minutes we join a macadam road, where the path flattens. The cart track quickly brings us to the Križni hrast junction, where we meet path 24 and the path that leads over the peaks Pečovje and Oštrec.
We continue north and after a minute leave the road.
There follow only a few minutes of walking through the forest and we arrive at the Gorščica mountain hut.
