Bodeški most - Šobčev bajer

Access to starting point:
From highway Ljubljana - Jesenice we go to the exit Lesce, and then we continue driving towards Bled. In Bled we turn left on the road Koritenska cesta and we continue driving in the direction of the settlement Koritno and later settlement Bodešče. When we get to Bodešče we turn second street left and then we gradually start descending through the village towards the bridge Bodeški most. We park at the bridge Bodeški most, on one or the other side of the river, depending on where we find more appropriate spot.

Path description:
From the bridge Bodeški most over the river Sava Bohinjka we go in the direction of Šobec and we continue along the left bank of the river on a worse partly cart track road. Cart track at first ascends diagonally through the forest and then it flattens and it brings us to a pleasant viewpoint with a bench, where it starts descending. Next follows a short descent and we already get to ample meadows, from which a nice view opens up on part of Kamnik Savinja Alps and on Karawanks. We continue on a cart track which leads through meadows, meanwhile we cross also a smaller stream and then still with nice views on Karawanks we reach the crossing at the bridge over the river Sava Dolinka.
From the crossing, we continue over the bridge, and on the other side of the bridge we already enter into camp Šobec. At the smaller crossroad right behind the bridge we continue right, and then in few minutes we walk to Šobčev bajer.
