Bodeški most - Šobčev bajer

Access to starting point:
From the highway Ljubljana - Jesenice, we take the Lesce exit, then continue driving towards Bled. In Bled, we turn left onto Koritenska cesta and continue driving in the direction of the settlement Koritno and later the settlement Bodešče. When we arrive in Bodešče, we turn into the second street on the left, then gradually descend through the village towards the Bodeški most bridge. We park at the Bodeški most bridge, on one side or the other of the river, depending on where we find a more suitable spot.

Route description:
From the Bodeški most bridge over the Sava Bohinjka river, we continue in the direction of Šobec and along the left bank of the river on a poorer, partly cart-track road. The cart track first ascends transversely through the forest, then levels out and brings us to a pleasant viewpoint with a bench, where it begins to descend. A short descent follows and we soon arrive at vast meadows, from which a nice view opens up on part of the Kamnik-Savinja Alps and the Karawanks. We continue on the cart track, which proceeds through the meadows; in between we also cross a smaller stream, then continue with nice views of the Karawanks to reach the junction at the bridge over the Sava Dolinka river.
From the junction, we continue over the bridge, and on the other side of the bridge we already enter the Šobec camp. At the smaller junction immediately behind the bridge, we continue right, then in a few minutes walk to the Šobčev bajer.
