Bohinjska Bela - Galetovec (via Turn)

Access to starting point:
From highway Ljubljana - Jesenice we go to the exit towards Bled and forward towards Bohinjska Bistrica. 1 km after Bled at the crossroad we turn right towards Bohinjska Bela. First, we drive through the upper part of the village in Podklanec to the railway station, near which we park the car.

Route description:
From the parking lot, we go back towards the bottom part of the village. The path in the first part isn't marked. Immediately after the last houses we turn left through a meadow to the forest edge. At the edge leads to the right a path uphill to a dark brown wooden house. Immediately after the house at the crossing we turn right (left Široka peč), after a few dozen meters the path turns sharply left, straight uphill. On the cart track which is steeply ascending through the forest we come to a crossroad of three paths. We continue on the left path, still straight uphill. When we come to a meadow with a holiday cottage, right after it we turn from the road left into the forest, and we join the marked path, which comes from the other side.
The marked path leads us through the forest to the road, where we turn left on the road and we come to a meadow and mountain farm Slamniki. Immediately after the farm from the road right into the forest a marked footpath branches off, which without any bigger problems brings us to the mountain pass Turn, where on the left side by the path we notice a monument. Main steepness is behind us, and we continue on the road ahead, where after about 250 meters a road branches off towards Galetovec (ahead Belska planina). After approximately a kilometer of walking on the road we come to the mountain pasture, where a signpost points us left over a grassy valley. Next follows a few minutes of light ascent through the forest, then we come to the panoramic edge of Galetovec, where there are the logbook, stamp and panorama board.
