Breg - Sveti Lovrenc above Okroglice

Access to starting point:
From Zasavje or from Celje we drive to Zidani Most and from there we continue towards Sevnica. Only few meters before the road crosses the river Sava we go left in the direction of village Loka and Breg. We follow this road to the village Breg, where a sign for Lisca points us left upwards. Further, we drive on the road which is ascending and it brings us to a crossroad in the village Lisce. Here we go left in the direction of Razbor and Lovrenc. After a short descent, we come to the next crossroad, where we continue right steeply downwards in the direction of Okroglice and Sveti Lovrenc. When the road stops descending, we park on one of the parking lots by the road before the village Okroglice.
From Trebnje or Krško we drive towards Sevnica and right behind the bridge, which we cross we turn left in the direction of village Orehovo and Breg. When the road brings us to the village Breg we turn right in the direction of Lisca. Further, follow the upper description.

Path description:
From the parking lot, we continue on the road by which we've parked. The road then soon brings us in the village, where by the road we notice a chapel after which at the agrotourism we turn right upwards in the direction of Lovrenc. The road which is mostly ascending a little higher brings us on two successive unmarked crossroads. In both cases we continue right and the road on a more and more panoramic slope brings us on a smaller mountain pass. Right on the highest point there is a crossroad, where we continue left towards the church, which we already for some time can clearly see it. We follow the road ahead past the post of Sveti Lovrenc to the spot, where from the road, an unmarked footpath branches off. The orientation on this part in nice weather is easy. Next follows an ascent on a panoramic meadow to the church of St. Lovrenc, which we reach in few minutes.
