Brezje pri Dobrovi - Vrhovčev grič (via Strmca)

Access to starting point:
A) From the Ljubljana–Koper highway, take the Brezovica exit, then continue driving towards Dobrova. From the roundabout in Dobrova, drive towards Horjul, then continue driving to the settlement Brezje pri Dobrovi. Here in the middle of the settlement, turn left onto a local road, along which we barely noticeably descend to the bridge over the Horjulščica River. After the bridge, the road turns right, and we park at a suitable spot beside the road.
B) From the Koper–Ljubljana highway, take the Vrhnika exit, then continue driving towards Horjul. In Horjul, turn right towards Dobrova and Ljubljana, but we follow the main road to the settlement Brezje pri Dobrovi. Here in the middle of the settlement, turn right onto a local road, along which we barely noticeably descend to the bridge over the Horjulščica River. After the bridge, the road turns right, and we park at a suitable spot beside the road.

Route description:
At the starting point, we notice the blazes which from the road direct us slightly left onto an ascending cart track. After a short ascent, the cart track bypasses a few nearby houses on the left side (dogs are often there, possible detour from the starting point far left, then all logging trails right and a little on pathless terrain), then it turns a little more to the left and moderately ascends through the forest for some time. Higher up, the cart track levels out, and the blazes direct us sharply right from the cart track onto a marked footpath (straight - path past Strmca), along which in 10 minutes of further walking we arrive at the indistinct summit of Strmca, which is entirely covered with forest.
From the summit we continue in the direction of Debelega hriba. A shorter descent follows to a junction, where the previously mentioned path joins. We continue along the marked path, which descends and ascends, meanwhile the path from the Pavliček farm also joins. We arrive below a steep slope, where we can go straight up the slope or right along the gentle path. After 5 minutes both paths merge and we continue to the foot of Vrhovčev grič, where at the junction we continue left and in a few steps we are on Vrhovčev grič.
