Brezovica pri Ljubljani (Radna) - Gradišče (above Dobrova)

Access to starting point:
A) From Ljubljana along Tržaška cesta we drive towards Brezovica pri Ljubljani, at the highway junction we continue straight to Brezovica. Before the turn-off to the road towards Podpeč we turn right into the Radna valley. We follow signposts towards Balinarsko ŠD (bowling club) where we park.
B) From Vrhnika along the old road we drive towards Ljubljana. When we pass the turn-off towards Podpeč, we turn left into the Radna valley. We follow signposts towards Balinarsko ŠD (bowling club) where we park.
C) We leave the Primorska highway at the Brezovica exit, then from the traffic-light junction we continue left towards Brezovica. Before the turn-off to the road towards Podpeč we turn right into the Radna valley. We follow signposts towards Balinarsko ŠD (bowling club) where we park.

Route description:
From the parking lot, we return along the road to the junction, where signposts past a few houses direct us towards Gradišče. At the beehive the path starts to ascend steeply; after a few minutes we reach Fajtov vrh. Here the path flattens, and for about 10 minutes we walk quite level to the second smaller ascent to Kamenščica. From here, after 10 minutes of walking, we descend a little to the foot of the last and longest ascent to Gradišče. The path, which is marked and signposted, then quickly brings us to the forested summit.
