Bukovniško jezero - Sveti Vid (at Bukovniško jezero)

Access to starting point:
We leave the Pomurska motorway at the Gančani exit, and then we follow the signs for Renkovci and further to Dobrovnik. When in Dobrovnik we reach the main road Murska Sobota - Lendava, we continue right, and only a little further we go left towards Bukovniško jezero. Some more driving follows and we arrive at the well-maintained parking lot in front of Bukovniško jezero.

Route description:
From the parking lot, we continue on the path which continues parallel to the road and quickly brings us to a marked junction, where the path branches off to the left to Strehovske gorice and a shorter path to Sveti Vid.
We continue straight and only a little further we come out of the forest, from where we ascend the stairs onto the embankment of Bukovniško jezero.
When we reach the embankment we go left and with a view of Bukovniško jezero we arrive at the love bridge. After the bridge follows a shorter ascent on the stairs, and then the path splits.
To the right continues the path which leads around the lake, and we continue slightly left and on the marked path which leads through it, we quickly ascend to the chapel of St. Vid, where from the left the somewhat shorter previously mentioned path joins us.
