Access to starting point:
First, we drive to Tržič, and then we continue driving towards the Dovžanova soteska gorge. When Tržič ends, we quickly get to the settlement Čadovlje pri Tržiču, and a little ahead also to a large marked parking lot on the left side of the road.
Route description:
From the parking lot, we continue on the asphalt road which brings us past the chapel to Born's tunnel at the narrowest part of the Dovžanova soteska gorge. We continue through the tunnel (carefully because of the traffic), and then follow two more hairpin turns below the mountain walls of Kušpergarjevi turni. A few minutes of moderate ascent follow and the path brings us to RIS Dolina, which is situated a few 10 meters to the right of the main road.
