Crno polje - Zelena glava

Access to starting point:
From the town of Konjic we head towards Boračko Lake. The road ascends towards the settlement Borci. After 11 km from Konjic, in the settlement Borci a little before the Orthodox church, we turn right in the direction of Rujište. The road soon becomes macadam. After less than 4 km on this main macadam we turn slightly right, after which we ascend in hairpin turns for another 7 km. This part of the macadam is quite demanding, a slightly higher vehicle is recommended. From Konjic to the starting point there is approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes of driving. At the starting point there is a smaller meadow with parking possibility.

Path description:
From the starting point we quickly find a well-marked path, which in a few minutes brings us to the mountain pasture Crno polje, from which nice views open up towards the peaks to the south (Sivadije 1967 m). The path then descends a little and through the beech forest leads towards the west. After an hour of walking we leave the forest and the path leads us across the grassy pastures of Prenj. The path is mostly flat with intermediate ascents and milder descents. On the northern side we are accompanied by the walls of the peak Osobac (2024 m). After a good two hours we arrive at the mountain hut Jezerce. From the hut we head towards the north past Jezerce (direction Tisovica). The path slowly ascends and after half an hour of walking turns sharply left (towards the west) into a rocky valley, along which we ascend more steeply below the northern walls of Otiš and Zelena glava. At the next junction we turn left (right Tisovica) and soon reach the saddle between Kopilica and Otiš. Here the path switches to the other side and with a few steel cables ascends to the saddle between Otiš and Zelena glava. We continue over the saddle and after 15 min of ascent (steel cable at some points) we summit the peak.
