Črnotiče - Marija Snežna on Gradišca

Access to starting point:
We leave the Ljubljana-Koper highway at the Kastelec exit, then follow the signs for Podgorje. From the road towards Podgorje we soon turn right in the direction of the settlement Črnotiče; at the church in Črnotiče we turn right onto the road, which behind the houses becomes macadam. We drive a little further, then arrive at a smaller crossroads, where to the right the road continues to the railway station Črnotiče, and on the left we notice the football field. We park near the crossroads in an appropriate place.

Path description:
From the starting point, we continue on the left road which leads us by the football field, a little further we get to a crossroad, where we go right (to the left we return to the village). The path ahead leads us through the underpass under the railway track, through meadows in a few minutes we get to a marked crossroad, where we continue left on a cart track in the direction of Marija Snežna (straight Podpeč, or we can ascend to Marija Snežna on the path which leads from Črnega Kala). Next follows a walk on a gentle, mostly grassy cart track, where at the next junction we go slightly right, again in the direction of Marija Snežna. A little further, the cart track again splits, and the junction isn't marked.
We continue on the poorly visible left cart track (if we continue straight, the cart track soon runs out), which gradually starts to ascend moderately. Higher, the path turns a little to the right, and mostly runs through low forest. At the wooden cross, the path once again splits, and we bypass the cross on the left side. A little further, we join the marked path from Praproč and after a minute of additional walking we get to the pilgrimage church of Marija Snežna on Gradišca.
