From the direction of Ptuj, drive towards the Gruškovje border crossing. Immediately after the Croatian crossing, turn right towards Trakošćan. After a few kilometers driving through the forest, arrive at Trakošćan castle. At the intersection by the Hotel, turn left towards Cvetlin. Drive about 2 km. At the intersection in the village, where there is a sign for Ptuj and Maribor, turn right and park at the inn.
Path description:
At the mentioned inn, we park and refresh ourselves if necessary, then proceed along the asphalt path towards Ravna Gora. When we reach a small parking area on the left side of the road, just before the last farm, we turn right uphill along a narrow cart track. After a while, the cart track turns into a narrow path. We ascend through grassy slopes. After a while, we arrive at a small wooden house, where the path from Trakošćan castle joins. We turn left and follow the markers all the way to the summit.
Since Ravna Gora is just a stone's throw from the border, the summit offers a beautiful view of Slovenia and Croatia.
