Access to starting point:
A) From the Ljubljana - Maribor highway, take the exit Šentrupert, then continue driving in the direction of Mozirje and Logarska dolina. In Letuš, immediately after the bridge over the river Savinja, leave the main road and continue driving right in the direction of Velenje and Šmartno ob Paki. After the bridge over the river Paka, we arrive at the next one, where we continue slightly right onto a narrower road in the direction of Polzela. Towards Polzela we drive to the railway track, then immediately after it continue left. The somewhat narrower road gradually enters the valley of Hudi potok, where it starts to ascend more steeply. When the road higher up leaves the gorge, it flattens and brings us to two successive crossroads, where a road towards Dobrič branches off to the right (turn-off is not marked, at the second turn-off, on the nearby residential houses we notice the blazes).
B) First, we drive to Velenje, from there we continue driving towards Šoštanj. Through Velenje we drive on Partizanska cesta, but only to the roundabout near the Hofer store. From the roundabout we take the third exit (if there were no roundabout we would turn left) and continue driving on Pokopališka cesta, which leads towards the cemetery Podkraj. Just a few meters before the sign which marks the beginning of the settlement Podgorje we leave the main road and continue driving left (turn-off is not marked, on the power pole we notice only a sign with the inscription Daewoo motor) on a somewhat narrower road, which leads us towards the dispersed settlement Veliki Vrh. The road further leads past individual houses, and we follow it to the homestead Vedet, where we notice the blazes and turn-off of the road to the left, which leads towards Dobrič and Gora Oljka.
Path description:
Both roads after a few dozen steps join into one, which brings us to the place where along the path we notice the inscription that we are welcome in Dobrič. From the road soon to the right branches off a marked path to the nearby Brezovec 617 m (on the signs we notice only markings for Martinova and Andraška pot), we continue further along the road in the direction of Gora Oljka (path past Rogeljška). The road continues for a few more minutes through the forest, then brings us to the upper edge of the nearby hay meadow, from where a nice view opens up on Paški Kozjak and part of Pohorje. At the mentioned homestead the road temporarily becomes asphalt, behind it to the right branches off a marked footpath to Gora Oljka (the turn-off of the path to the right is no longer at the end of the asphalt or. on the part where the path is arranged with log steps, but a few dozen m further).
We continue further along the road, which returns to the forest and further ascends transversely along the slope of Gora Oljka. After a few minutes we join a wider macadam road which leads towards the summit, and we follow it to the right. Only about a minute further the marked path from Polzela joins us, which soon leaves the road. We continue further along the road, along which we arrive at a chapel and a larger parking lot. At the parking lot we return to the marked path, which continues along the road, along which in a minute of further walking we arrive at the Planinski dom na Gori Oljki and after a short ascent along the stairs also to the church of Sv. Križa, from which a nice view opens up on Posavsko hribovje, Kamniško Savinjske Alpe, the nearby surroundings and more.
