Dolga vas - Piramida (Lendavske gorice) (Opekarniška pot)

Access to starting point:
We leave the Pomurska highway at the junction for Dolga vas, where we drive for a short time on the fast road H7, from which we take the first exit for Dolga vas. When we arrive in Dolga vas, we go past the cemetery, where there is a marked parking lot, but parking is allowed only for visitors of the cemetery. We drive to the other side of the cemetery, where at the crossroads we go left (right - Lendava) and then we park on the eastern side of the cemetery.

Path description:
From the parking lot, we first carefully cross the main road, then we go right towards Lendava. Already after a few steps we go left onto a side road, along which there are signs for Vinarium tower and Opekarniška pot. There follows an ascent past the fire station, on the part where the road runs through the forest we arrive at a marked junction, where Opekarniška pot branches off to the left.
We continue on Opekarniška pot (straight continues a marked path which leads along the road), which ascends through a strip of bushes, higher it turns right and takes us to a fenced garden, where the markings temporarily disappear. We continue along the left side of the garden, through a strip of bushes and in a gentle descent we arrive at the foot of the vineyard. We continue along the left side of the vineyard, higher on a support pole we notice a marking which confirms that we are on the right path. We continue along the edge of the bushes, further a gentle path a little ahead by the nearby house brings us to an asphalt road, which we follow to the right (if we continue left we arrive in Dolga vas). Further we walk past houses, when we arrive at a crossroads from which a view opens up on the lookout tower Vinarium, we go left. The path ahead crosses a strip of forest, after crossing the stream we go left from the crossroads. There follows an ascent past a few houses, then the road becomes macadam and a little ahead turns right.
On the part where the road turns right, we continue straight into the forest and continue on Opekarniška pot. Through the forest we follow the markings and arrows, after a few minutes we reach a cart track, which we follow to the right. The path ahead leads us past the hunting observation post, the cart track gradually widens into a road and when we arrive at houses, the road becomes asphalt. From the nearby crossroads, by which there is a cross, we continue straight, then in a few minutes of further walking we arrive at the lookout tower Vinarium.
From the lookout tower we continue in the direction of the pyramid along the road, which gently ascends, after approximately 10 minutes of further walking we arrive at the pyramid, which is situated on the highest point of Lendavske gorice.
