Dolina Drage - Sveti Rupert above Draga

Access to starting point:
First, we drive to Ig, and then we continue driving towards Škofljica. At the end of Ig, in a sharp left turn we will notice a side road which from the main turns to the right (direction straight ahead). The mentioned road then through the village Kremenica brings us to a crossroad, where two roads towards Draga branch off to the right (we go on the second road). We follow this road to the parking lot by the lake and hunting lodge.

Path description:
The described path because of the passage through private land isn't passable.
From the parking lot, we continue past the hunting lodge on an unmarked path which runs on an embankment of the south part of Veliki ribnik. On the other side of the lake the path goes into the forest, where it joins a cart track which we follow to the right. After a few 10 steps of additional walking the cart track splits into two parts. We continue on the left one, which starts ascending (the lower right one circles the lake) and only a little further brings us to the next junction. Here we continue sharply left and continue the ascent on a somewhat steeper cart track which higher up joins the asphalt road.
We follow the road to the right, and it soon brings us out of the forest onto panoramic grassy slopes. After a few minutes of walking along the road, we will notice on the left side a poorer macadam road which we then follow to the church of St. Rupert.
