Dom planincev Farbanca - Tolsti vrh (Dobrovlje)

Access to starting point:
From Mozirje we drive to Nazarje and follow the road ahead towards Gornji Grad and Šmartno ob Dreti. Only a little after Lačja vas, a road in the direction of Čreta and Farbanca branches off to the left (the turn-off is marked). We then follow the road, which becomes macadam and starts ascending, in the direction of Farbanca, where near the mountain hut we also park (we park a little below the hut on one of the parking lots by the road).
From Kamnik over the Črnivec pass we drive to Gornji Grad and follow the road ahead in the direction of the village Bočna, Šmartno ob Dreti and Nazarje. Only a little after the village Pusto polje we notice a road which goes right in the direction of Čreta and Farbanca. Further, follow the upper description.

Path description:
From the mountain hut Dom planincev Farbanca we go on a footpath in the direction of Čreta and Tolsti vrh. The path goes already after a few steps into the forest, where it starts moderately to steeply ascending. Only a little further, the path joins a wide cart track, which first ascends gently, then steeply and higher joins the macadam road (to here possible also on the road).
We continue straight and the road after 2 minutes of additional walking brings us to a crossroad, where we continue right (left Čreta). From the relatively gentle road the blazes soon direct us to a footpath, which ascends a little more steeply and in a few minutes brings us to the spot where we join the path from the Dom na Čreti hut. We continue right on a quite gentle path, which after a few steps of walking brings us to a nice vantage point at a big cross.
From the vantage point, next to which there are two pleasant benches, a nice view opens up on Vransko and Posavsko hribovje.
We continue on the gentle path, which a little further steeply descends for a short time, then crosses occasionally steeper slopes and brings us to a smaller hamlet (farm Rucgar), where we also arrive at the next junction.
We continue right in the direction of Tolsti vrh and NOB monument (left Lipa saddle and Sveti Jošt) on a path which starts to ascend diagonally across a partly panoramic slope. Higher the path turns right, goes into the forest and slightly descends for a short time. After a few minutes of additional walking the path to Tolsti vrh turns sharply left (straight to NOB monument 15 minutes) and gradually starts to ascend more and more steeply. We follow this relatively well-marked path all the way to Tolsti vrh.
Only a few steps below the summit a nice view opens up on the Kamniško Savinjske Alpe, and the path from Sveti Jošt also joins.
