Dragomer (bajer) - Strmec (above Dragomer) (past Ferjanka)

Access to starting point:
A) From the highway Ljubljana - Koper, we take the Brezovica exit, then continue driving on the parallel old road towards Vrhnika. After approximately 5 km of driving, from the spot when we got on the old road, we turn right onto a local road which continues among meadows and fields. After a few hundred meters we arrive at a hamlet with a few houses, where at the crossroads we turn left, and the road only a few meters ahead turns right. Further on, we drive mostly straight, then at the crossroads where there are garbage containers, we turn left. A short, barely noticeable descent follows and the road brings us to the next crossroads. Here we continue straight where the blazes also direct us. Another good 100 meters of driving follows, then we park at an appropriate place near the next crossroads.
B) From the highway Koper - Ljubljana, we take the Vrhnika exit, then continue driving on the parallel old road towards Ljubljana. After 8.5 km of driving, from the spot when we got on the old road, we turn left onto a local road which continues among meadows and fields. After a few hundred meters we arrive at a hamlet with a few houses, where at the crossroads we turn left, and the road only a few meters ahead turns right. Further on, we drive mostly straight, then at the crossroads where there are garbage containers, we turn left. A short, barely noticeable descent follows and the road brings us to the next crossroads. Here we continue straight where the blazes also direct us. Another good 100 meters of driving follows, then we park at an appropriate place near the next crossroads.

Path description:
From the starting point, we continue on the left road, which quickly takes us into the forest, where it turns into a cart track. Here is a crossroads of five cart tracks; we continue right on the marked footpath or on the first right cart track. (If we continue straight or slightly left, we also arrive at Strmec, but there are numerous crossroads.)
Both variants soon join. We continue right and the blazes immediately direct us slightly left onto a marked footpath, which ascends somewhat more steeply. Only a little higher, we join the first cart track, along which we quickly arrive at the Ferjanka homestead.
Here we continue left past the homestead and the logbook box onto the path that enters the forest. Soon we arrive at a poorly noticeable junction, where we continue right, then immediately left. The path ascends more steeply to the next junction, where we go right and after a few tens of meters arrive at the vegetated summit of Strmec.
