Dragomer (bajer) - Vrhovčev grič (via Ferjanka and Strmca)

Access to starting point:
a) From the Ljubljana–Koper motorway, take the Dragomer exit, then continue driving on the parallel old road towards Vrhnika. After approximately 2 km of driving from the point where we joined the old road, turn right onto the local road which continues through meadows and fields. After a few hundred m, we reach a hamlet of a few houses, where at the intersection we turn left, and the road turns right just a few metres ahead. Continue mostly straight ahead, then at the intersection next to which there are waste containers, turn left. A short, barely noticeable descent follows and the road takes us to the next intersection. Here continue straight where the markers also direct us. Another good 100 m of driving follows, then park in a suitable place near the next intersection.
b) From the Koper–Ljubljana motorway, take the Vrhnika exit, then continue driving on the parallel old road towards Ljubljana. After 8.5 km of driving from the point where we joined the old road, turn left onto the local road which continues through meadows and fields. After a few hundred m, we reach a hamlet of a few houses, where at the intersection we turn left, and the road turns right just a few metres ahead. Continue mostly straight ahead, then at the intersection next to which there are waste containers, turn left. A short, barely noticeable descent follows and the road takes us to the next intersection. Here continue straight where the markers also direct us. Another good 100 m of driving follows, then park in a suitable place near the next intersection.

Route description:
From the starting point we continue on the left road, which quickly takes us into the forest, where it changes into a cart track. We continue on the cart track, or on the parallel marked path, which joins the cart track after just a few 10 m. Further we ascend on the cart track, then the markers direct us slightly left onto the marked footpath, which ascends somewhat more steeply. Just a little higher, we join another cart track, on which we quickly reach the Ferjanka farmstead.
We continue right across the meadow into the forest and follow the marked path to the logging trail, where the marker directs us right and after a short descent we reach an intersection. We continue straight (right Ferjanka along the logging trail (approach option), left Brezje pri Dobrovi). The logging trail ascends somewhat more steeply and we are already at the forepeak of Strmca. A slight descent follows and two steeper ascents through Križevski boršt separate us from the top, and in 10 minutes from the forepeak we already see the sign at the top of Strmca.
From the top we continue in the direction of Debeleg hrib. A shorter descent to the junction follows, where the aforementioned path joins us. We continue on the marked path, which descends and ascends, in between the path from kmetija Pavliček also joins us. We arrive below a steep slope, where we can go straight up the slope or right on the gentle path. After 5 minutes both paths merge and we continue to the foot of Vrhovčev grič, where at the junction we continue left and in a few steps we are at Vrhovčev grič.
