Dragomer (bajer) - Vrhovčev grič (via Ferjanka and Strmca)

Access to starting point:
A) From the Ljubljana - Koper highway, we take the Brezovica exit, then continue driving on the parallel old road towards Vrhnika. After approximately 5 km of driving, from the spot when we got on the old road, we turn right onto a local road which continues among meadows and fields. After a few 100 m we get to a hamlet with a few houses, where at the crossroad we turn left, and the road only a few meters ahead turns right. Further, we drive mostly straight, then at the crossroad, by which there are garbage containers, we turn left. A short, barely noticeable descent follows and the road brings us to the next crossroad. Here we continue straight where the blazes also direct us. Another good 100 meters of driving follows, then we park at an appropriate place near the next crossroad.
B) From the Koper - Ljubljana highway, we take the Vrhnika exit, then continue driving on the parallel old road towards Ljubljana. After 8.5 km of driving, from the spot when we got on the old road, we turn left onto a local road which continues among meadows and fields. After a few 100 m we get to a hamlet with a few houses, where at the crossroad we turn left, and the road only a few meters ahead turns right. Further, we drive mostly straight, then at the crossroad, by which there are garbage containers, we turn left. A short, barely noticeable descent follows and the road brings us to the next crossroad. Here we continue straight where the blazes also direct us. Another good 100 meters of driving follows, then we park at an appropriate place near the next crossroad.

Path description:
From the starting point, we continue on the left road, and it quickly brings us into the forest, where it changes into a cart track. We continue on the cart track, or on a parallel marked path, which already after a few 10 meters joins the cart track. Further, we ascend on the cart track, then the blazes direct us slightly to the left on a marked footpath which ascends a little steeper. Only a little higher, we join another cart track, on which we quickly arrive at the homestead Ferjanka.
We continue right across the meadow into the forest and follow the marked path to the logging trail, where a blaze directs us to the right and after a short descent we come to a crossroad. We continue straight (right Ferjanka on the logging trail (approach option), left Brezje pri Dobrovi). The logging trail ascends somewhat more steeply and we are already on the forepeak of Strmca. A gentle descent follows and only two steeper ascents through Križevski boršt separate us from the top, and in 10 minutes from the forepeak we already see the sign on the top of Strmca.
From the top, we continue in the direction of Debeli hrib. A shorter descent to a junction follows, where the previously mentioned path joins us. We continue on the marked path, which descends and ascends, in between the path from the farm Pavliček also joins us. We arrive below a steep slope, where we can go straight up the slope or right on the gentle path. After 5 minutes both paths merge and we continue to the foot of Vrhovčev grič, where at the junction we continue left and in a few steps we are on Vrhovčev grič.
