Dragomer (OŠ Log-Dragomer) - Vrhovčev grič (via Strmec and Strmca)

Access to starting point:
a) From the Ljubljana - Koper motorway, take the Dragomer exit, then continue driving on the parallel old road towards Vrhnika. Just before the Šipca bar inn, turn right into Dragomer and immediately left towards the school, where we park.
b) From the Primorska motorway, take the Vrhnika exit and continue driving on the old road towards Ljubljana. When the Log settlement ends, turn left behind Šipca bar into Dragomer and then immediately left towards the school, where we park. The school is already visible from the main road, and the abandoned quarry in Strmec is also visible.

Route description:
At the starting point, find the cart track by the bridge. Head onto it and immediately turn onto the steeper left bank, which bends and we are again at a junction. Continue right, then left again and right once more. The bank gradually turns into a path. At the end of the path, we reach a bank leading from Log again. Continue right. The bank ascends unevenly. Ignore all branches left and right and soon we are at the overgrown fore-summit of Strmec. A slight descent follows to a junction, where we can continue left to the top of Strmca (a few dozen meters) or right towards Ferjanka. A steep descent follows to a junction, where we continue right on the poorer and somewhat overgrown cart track and soon after left onto a somewhat overgrown path. Soon we reach a cart track and we are at Ferjanka, where there is a logbook box on a tree stump. Join the marked trail. Continue across the meadow into the forest and follow the marked trail to a cart track, where the marker directs us right and after a short descent we reach a junction. Continue straight (right to Ferjanka on cart track (access option), left to Brezje pri Dobrovi). The cart track ascends somewhat more steeply and we are already at the fore-summit of Strmca. A slight descent follows and two steeper ascents through Križevski boršt separate us from the summit, and in 10 minutes from the fore-summit we already spot the sign at the top of Strmca.
From the summit, continue in the direction of Debeleg hrib. A short descent to a junction follows, where the aforementioned path joins. Continue on the marked trail, which descends and ascends, meanwhile the path from the Pavliček farm joins us. We arrive below a steep slope, where we can go straight up the slope or right on the gentle path. After 5 minutes, both paths merge and we continue to the foot of Vrhovčev grič, where at the junction we continue left and in a few steps we are at Vrhovčev grič.
