Dragomer - Vrh (Debeli hrib) (on Pentlja)

Access to starting point:
From the Ljubljana - Koper motorway, take the Dragomer exit, then continue driving on the parallel old road towards Vrhnika. Soon at the traffic-light intersection turn right towards the centre of Dragomer. Immediately after leaving the main road, a marked path branches off to the right, initially a road towards Debeli hrib. Park somewhere in Dragomer, best near the sports field.

Route description:
From the starting point continue to the traffic-light intersection and further along the pavement towards Ljubljana. This section is unmarked. Soon after there are two intersections, first turn slightly left, then sharply left onto a steep marked slope. Continue along it across a scenic meadow into the forest. Arrive at an unmarked junction. Both paths lead to the top. If turning left, soon reach another junction. At the junction there are signposts for Pentlja.
Continue right, soon reach the grassy slopes of Liparjev grič. Continue across the meadow into the forest to the junction. From the left an unmarked cart track from Dragomer joins, to the right one also reaches Vrh. Continue slightly left along the cart track. The cart track ascends more steeply and soon crosses one of the many paths to Vrh. The cart track descends slightly to the stream (which often dries up) and then ascends unevenly crossing the slopes all the way to the marked junction. Continue right in the direction of Pentlja, straight marked path to Strmca and Ključ. The path ascends to the next junction, where there is a bench. Several paths join. Continue across the flat area and past the bench to the junction, continue slightly right along the cart track, left shortcut. The cart track first crosses the slope, then makes a bend and soon you step onto Vrh, where there are again some benches and sculptures.
