Dražgoše (Na Pečeh) - Dražgoška gora

Access to starting point:
A) We drive to Železniki, then continue driving towards Dražgoše. Through Dražgoše we follow the main road to the part of the village named Na Pečeh, where we notice signs for Bičkova skala. At the mentioned junction, the described path begins. There are no designated parking spaces nearby.
B) We drive to Kranj, then follow the signs for Besnica (the turn-off from the old Ljubljana - Kranj road is before the bridge over the Sava River, or after the bridge if coming from the Kranj direction). We continue driving through Spodnja and Zgornja Besnica and Njivica. A little further on, we arrive at Nemilje; after the mentioned settlement, the road starts to ascend more steeply. When we arrive at Podblica, we follow the main road; above Podblica, we reach the main Kropa - Dražgoše road, which we follow to the left (if the bend is too sharp, there is a turning area a few tens of meters to the right). We continue past the church of St. Jedert, then soon arrive at Dražgoše, where we first reach a junction from which the road to Sv. Križ branches off to the left. Here we continue on the main road, then arrive at the center of Dražgoše, where in the area named Na Pečeh we notice signs for Bičkova skala (the signs are from the opposite direction of the road), where the described path begins. There are no designated parking spaces nearby.
C) We drive to Kropa, then continue driving towards Dražgoše and Železniki. When we arrive at Dražgoše, in the center of Dražgoše, in the area named Na Pečeh we notice signs for Bičkova skala (the signs are from the opposite direction of the road), where the described path begins. There are no designated parking spaces nearby.

Route description:
From the starting point, we continue on a side road in the direction of Bičkova skala and Dražgoška gora. First we walk on a steep asphalt road towards the hamlet Jelenšče, then continue left onto the road in the direction of house numbers Dražgoše 43, 68 and 70. With nice views, we ascend along the still asphalt road to the edge of the forest, where a path branches off to the right from the road, leading towards Dražgoška gora, mountain pasture Kališnik and Vodiška planina (the turn-off is not marked). After a short ascent, at the junction we continue right (the mark shows the straight direction), then we ascend across a panoramic hay meadow. When we reach a wider path a little further on, we continue left (right returns us to the asphalt road, but we reach it higher than our starting point), then for quite some time we ascend diagonally towards the left along it. A little further on, we reach a cart track, which we follow to the left (straight to mountain pasture Kališnik and Vodiška planina, right to Dražgoše hamlet Jelenšče).
We walk along the cart track for some time, but when the cart track turns right, we continue straight onto a footpath, along which in a few tens of steps of further walking we arrive at the viewpoint Dražgoška gora, where there is also a logbook box.
