Dvorec Rakičan - Gravel pit Vučja jama (via chapel)

Access to starting point:
We leave the Pomurska motorway at the Lipovci exit, and then we follow the signs for Murska Sobota - east. When we arrive in the settlement Rakičan, we turn left towards Dvorec Rakičan, where we park at an appropriate place.

Route description:
From the parking lot, we return to the main road and cross it carefully (it is even safer to do this at the pedestrian crossing approximately 500 m away - the crossing is located in the direction of the hospital), and then we continue right.
The path ahead leads us on a narrower asphalt road which runs between the fields on the left and the main road on the right. Further on, we go past the chapel too, at a smaller crossroad we go straight (left to the eastern part of the settlement Rakičan). When we approach the motorway, we go left onto a field path, which soon turns right, then a few minutes further it brings us to the crossroad at the underpass. We continue through the underpass below the motorway, on the other side of the motorway we go left immediately. Approximately 50 m further the path splits, we go slightly right so that we gradually move away from the motorway. A little further we arrive at the next junction, where we continue straight, then between the fields we continue to the parking lot at the gravel pit Vučja jama.
Here we go left and in a few steps we arrive at the lake.
