Eco farm Magu - Basališče (Paški Kozjak)

Access to starting point:
From the road Velenje - Slovenj Gradec between villages Paka pri Velenju and Zgornji Dolič at the road sign between 5.5 and 6 km to the right (from the Slovenj Gradec direction left) a road branches off towards the quarry. We head onto this road, which before the quarry turns left and then ascends to the mountain hut on Paški Kozjak. Further, we continue on a macadam road, which soon brings us to a crossroad, where we continue on the right lower road (left Jošt). The road then after a short descent brings us to the next crossroad, where we continue left. The road ahead has a few more crossroads; everywhere we stick to the one that is more "main". When by the road we notice signs that we are at the organic farm Magu, we pay attention. Here we still drive ahead but only to the next crossroad, where we turn left and park on a smaller parking lot by the road. We can also come here from the village Vitanje.

Path description:
From the parking lot, we continue on the road upwards, which from the initial thin forest brings us to a larger meadow. The road crosses the meadow and on the other side of the meadow there is a road closure (a gate). Ahead we ascend on the road to the hunting observatory, which we notice on the left side of the road. Here we go left on a cart track which after a few minutes brings us to a small saddle. At the spot where the cart track starts descending we leave it and we go right on a footpath which is gently ascending on the upper slope of Basališče. This path, which mostly runs through the forest, we follow all the way to the top.
