Konec ceste pod Jelovcem - Limberk

Access to starting point:
From the Ljubljana - Novo mesto highway we take the Grosuplje exit and follow the road ahead to the mentioned place. From Grosuplje we continue driving towards Turjak, but only to the spot where a road branches off to the left towards Spodnja Slivnica. Above Spodnja Slivnica the road becomes macadam, and at the crossroad above the village we follow it in the direction of the hunting cottage (left - hamlet Zavrh). Only a little further we come to the next crossroad, where we again continue right (left - village Predole). Further we drive for approximately 2 km and the road brings us to the next crossroad, where we continue left (right - hunting cottage). We follow this road to its end, where we park.

Route description:
From the starting point we continue on the cart track which continues from the end of the road. The rutted and often quite muddy cart track brings us already after a few minutes of walking to the first unmarked junction, where we continue slightly left on the noticeably wider cart track. The mentioned cart track, which runs without large ascents and descents, brings us after approximately 10 minutes of walking to the marked path which leads from the village Predole.
We follow the marked path to the right and continue walking on the cart track which has a few smaller junctions, but because the path further is marked there are no bigger problems with orientation. The cart track then starts ascending steeper, and we follow it to the spot where the blazes direct us right onto a steep footpath, on which in good 5 minutes of additional walking we ascend to the summit of Limberk.
