Gorenja Dobrava - Sveti Urban (above Gorenja Dobrava)

Access to starting point:
A) We drive to Gorenja vas in the Poljanska dolina valley, from where at the roundabout by the Petrol gas station we take the exit in the direction of Vrhnika and Horjul. We then drive through Dolenja Dobrava, and soon arrive at Gorenja Dobrava, where at the crossroad, where the path branches off to the left towards Sveti Urban, the described path begins. At the starting point, there are no arranged parking spaces.
B) We drive to Polhov Gradec, then follow the signs for Gorenja vas. Higher up we arrive at the settlement Suhi Dol, where the road starts descending towards the Poljanska dolina valley, and we drive along it to the settlement Gorenja Dobrava, where at the crossroad, where the path branches off to the right towards Sveti Urban, the described path begins. At the starting point, there are no arranged parking spaces.
C) We drive to Horjul, then follow the signs for Šentjošt nad Horjulom. After Vrzdenec the road starts ascending more noticeably and soon brings us to a crossroad, where we continue right on the priority road in the direction of Suhi Dol, Butajnova and Gorenja vas (straight ahead Šentjošt and Žiri). A short descent follows, then we join the road from Polhov Gradec, and we continue towards Gorenja vas. Higher up we arrive at the settlement Suhi Dol, where the road starts descending towards the Poljanska dolina valley, and we drive along it to the settlement Gorenja Dobrava, where at the crossroad, where the path branches off to the right towards Sveti Urban, the described path begins. At the starting point, there are no arranged parking spaces.

Route description:
From the starting point, we head onto the path in the direction of Sveti Urban, where we first walk along a gentle asphalt road, which behind the houses starts ascending more noticeably and quickly brings us to a smaller crossroad, where we continue right onto a macadam road, alongside which there are signs for Sveti Urban. This is followed by an ascent along the macadam road, which first leads through the forest, higher up across hay meadows, where we also arrive at the nearby farm.
At the farm, the Čebelarska pot also joins, and we continue right along the cart track, from which a nice view opens towards Blegoš, ascending to the nearby peak, where the church of St. Urban stands.
