Gornja Radgona (parish church of St. Peter) - Radgona castle (by road)

Access to starting point:
A) We leave Pomurska highway at exit Lenart v Slovenskih goricah, and then we follow the road in the direction of Gornja Radgona. When we get to Gornja Radgona we drive past the turn-off towards Radgona castle (Radgonski grad), and we turn left about 100 meters further, where we park on a parking lot at parish church of St. Peter.
B) We drive to Radenci, and then we follow the road towards Gornja Radgona. Through the town we follow the signs for Maribor, and after the parish church of St. Peter, which we notice on the right on a smaller hill, we turn right and we park on a parking lot below the church.

Path description:
From the parking lot, we walk to a sidewalk, which continues by the main road, and we are slightly ascending there to a crossroad, where a road towards Radgona castle (Radgonski grad) branches off to the right. We continue on a little steeper asphalt road which leads us past occasional houses. When we get to a crossroad we go right and we continue walking on a priority road. A little further from the right joins also the footpath (the path starts on the other side of the church of St. Peter), and the road slowly turns to the left and past Naravno zdravljenje Vito brings us to the parking lot in front of Radgona castle.
For the access into the castle park and further into the castle we have to pay an entrance fee.
