Jezero Haršaš / Hársas tó - Kapela Brenner / Brenner Kápolna

Access to starting point:
We drive to Murska Sobota, then continue driving towards Hodoš. When we arrive in Šalovci, from the roundabout we take the exit towards the settlement Čepinci, but we continue through Markovci and Čepinci to the border crossing with Hungary. Through Hungary we continue to the settlement Števanovci / Apátistvánfalva, shortly after the settlement we turn right towards the settlement Otkovci / Újbalázsfalva (straight Monošter / Szentgotthárd), after the mentioned settlement the signs for lake Haršaš / Hársas tó point left. We continue straight and along the eastern side of the lake reach the parking lot on the northeastern side of the lake, where we park.

Route description:
From the parking lot, we head to the embankment along which we walk westwards and from which a nice view of lake Haršaš opens up. At the northwestern part of the lake the path turns left and enters the forest. We continue along the lake, soon an educational trail branches off to the right from our path.
From here we walk along the lake for a short while, at the next junction we go right and move away from the lake. We continue following the red local markers similar to the letter m.
From the place where we leave the lake shore we first ascend moderately for some time, then the path continues with some shorter ascents and descents, at numerous junctions following the aforementioned markers. When we reach the gravel road we continue straight and then in about five minutes of further walking arrive at the Brenner chapel.
