Hotel Golte - Hotel Golte (path on Golte)

Access to starting point:
First, we drive to Mozirje, where at the roundabout we turn in the direction of "Golte". The road then brings us to the next junction, where we head slightly left again in the direction of "Golte". Further ahead, the road brings us to the junction of a one-way road. We turn right into the village of Žekovec and the road brings us to the lower cable car station on Golte. Then we buy a ticket and take the cable car to the Hotel Golte.

Path description:
From the hotel, after a few steps we come to the signposts. We follow the signs for "pot po Golteh". We cross a grazing fence and behind it also an artificially made torrent. Further, we follow the cart track, which in a few steps brings us to a poor forest road. The road turns slightly right and starts to ascend more steeply. A little higher, the road makes a long left bend and through a short strip of sparse forest brings us to a junction a little before crossing the three-seater chairlift. We continue straight on the lower path, which soon after the cableway turns right upwards again (we can also go right, but in doing so we skip the monument and the peak Medvedjak). After a few dozen steps of ascent, the path brings us to the NOB monument. We continue right and after a short ascent we come to the panoramic peak Medvedjak, to which the three-seater chairlift leads. We continue further along the path, which runs along a panoramic ridge and starts to descend. Soon the path brings us to an artificial lake, by which stands the guesthouse Trije ploti.
Next, we ascend to a smaller hillock, at the top of which we turn left onto pathless terrain. A pleasant bench with a nice view surprises us. Further, we continue right downwards along a very poorly visible path. Soon we encounter a cart track, which in descent brings us to the shepherd's hut Stari stani.
We continue sharply right across the grazing fence. After a few steps from the grazing fence, the pot po Golteh path directs us left downwards onto a path. The path through sparse forest brings us to the electricity poles, where we continue upwards across the meadow. The path then brings us to a grassy cart track, which we soon leave. The signs direct us left upwards and the path after a short ascent brings us to a bench at Jezerci. Further, we descend to the lake and continue slightly right. The signs then direct us slightly left onto the path, which runs through a smaller clearing in the middle of the forest. The path soon turns into a cart track, which after a short descent brings us to a junction. We continue left along the wider cart track, which soon brings us to the mountain pasture. At the spot where the mountain pasture bends, we encounter signs for Mozirska koča. We head sharply right downwards and descend slightly below the poor road along which we walked. Before the hut on the pasture, the path turns left and starts to descend. Further, we descend along the cart track to the spot where the signs for pot po Golteh direct us right. After a few steps, we come to Ledenica. Further, the path rejoins the cart track and brings us to the chapel, which is only 100 m from Mozirska koča. At the chapel, we turn left and after a short descent we come to the hut. From the hut, we continue along the road (back), which after a short ascent brings us to the Alpine garden.
From the Alpine garden, we continue along the road in the direction of Hotel Golte and the cableway. From the garden to the hotel, we have ten minutes of walking along the road, which ascends only slightly.
PS: The entire path is not marked, but it is signposted with POT PO GOLTEH signs. In fog, orientation on the path is very difficult and I do not recommend it. Since the path is circular, it brings us back to the starting point.
