Hotel Šimnovec - Gostišče Zeleni Rob

Access to starting point:
We drive to Kamnik and follow the road ahead towards the valley of Kamniška Bistrica. We park on a large parking lot at the bottom station of the cable car to Velika Planina. Then we take the cable car to the upper station, which is the starting point for our tour.

Route description:
When we step out of the cable car, the path brings us to Hotel Šimnovec after a few dozen steps, in front of which we notice numerous mountaineering signposts. We continue on the transport-rescue road in the direction of Zeleni rob. The road on which we walk rises at first gently, then moderately ascends on and beside the ski track. After approximately 30 minutes of walking, the path brings us to the inn Zeleni rob.

The trip can be extended to the following destinations: Domžalski dom na Mali planini ( 45 min), Chapel of Marija Snežna (Velika planina) ( 30 min), Gradišče (Velika planina) ( 15 min)
