Hrastnik - Dom v Gorah

Access to starting point:
To Hrastnik we can come from three directions.
a) From the direction of Ljubljana, we drive along the river Sava towards Trbovlje and then Hrastnik. At Hrastnik we turn over the bridge and then soon after the bridge right and park on the parking lot in front of the railway station.
b) If we come from the direction of Zidani Most we drive on a narrower road to Hrastnik. When we turn under the railway, after a few meters we turn strictly right back to the parking lot in front of the railway station.
c) If we come from the direction of Celje, Laško, then in Rimske Toplice we head in the direction of Dol pri Hrastniku (right) and then past Dol pri Hrastniku to Hrastnik. There on a larger crossroad we turn left towards old factories and then again left a few hundred meters before the bridge to the railway station. There we park and continue the path behind the railway station.

Path description:
Behind the railway station on the retaining wall there is a sign for Gore. Between the retaining wall there are some stairs which we go up, then soon we notice a sign indicating that to Gore is an hour and a half. First the path winds among houses, a small part of the path also on the road. At the beginning the path is a little steeper. Then we turn from the road right (we follow the blazes) onto meadows. We walk on meadows, on the lower side of holiday cottages, then the path turns into the forest. The path through the forest is only slightly inclined upwards. Soon we again come to a meadow, among orchards. The path leads across the meadow upwards to the road. On the road we orient right and immediately come to the main road which leads to Gore. We follow the road upwards among the forest and then among houses. Among houses the blazes direct us straight and then onto a cart track. We follow the cart track. After less than an hour of walking we come to a crossroad, where the path ascends left into the forest. We follow the blazes and the path through the forest. The path here is at the beginning more level, later it starts to ascend steeply. Out of the forest we come onto a macadam road, where we turn right. On the right side we soon notice the local church, past the house we turn left and we are already at the hut.
