Hruševo (Log) - Sveti Jurij (Hruševo)

Access to starting point:
A) We leave the Primorska motorway at the Brezovica exit, then continue driving in the direction of Dobrova and Polhov Gradec. Further, we drive through the Gradaščica valley and follow the main road towards Polhov Gradec past the inn Kramarjev hram, where there is the first turn-off to the left towards Hruševo, to the second turn-off to the left towards the settlement Hruševo, which is a few 100 m ahead. At the second turn-off we turn left, cross Gradaščica and then park at an appropriate place near the fire station. The most appropriate place is immediately after the bridge; parking in front of the fire station is prohibited.
B) From the Ljubljana ring road or Gorenjska motorway we head to the exit Ljubljana (Podutik), then continue driving towards the mentioned part of Ljubljana and further towards Dobrova. After Preval, where the road towards Toško Čelo branches off to the right, the road starts to descend, and we drive along it to the place where we reach the main road Dobrova - Polhov Gradec. We follow the mentioned road to the right in the direction of Polhov Gradec. Further, we drive through the Gradaščica valley and follow the main road towards Polhov Gradec past the inn Kramarjev hram, where there is the first turn-off to the left towards Hruševo, to the second turn-off to the left towards the settlement Hruševo, which is a few 100 m ahead. At the second turn-off we turn left, cross Gradaščica and then park at an appropriate place near the fire station. The most appropriate place is immediately after the bridge; parking in front of the fire station is prohibited.
C) We drive to Polhov Gradec, then continue driving towards Ljubljana. A little after the village Hrastenice we come to an intersection, where the road towards the settlement Hruševo branches off to the right. We turn right across the Gradaščica river and then immediately after the bridge park at an appropriate place near the fire station.

Path description:
From the starting point, we continue on the asphalt road which bypasses the fire station on the left side and a little further brings us to a settlement of a few houses. Through the hamlet we continue on the main road, which a little further temporarily descends slightly, then with a view towards today's destination and surrounding hills starts to ascend moderately to steeply. Higher the asphalt road brings us to the next houses, where by the road we notice a chapel, and we leave the main road about 20 m before the chapel and continue sharply right on the cart track which leads towards the church of St. Jurij.
The cart track is at first quite undulating, then with a view on the surrounding hills starts to ascend moderately. After a few minutes of further ascent, we reach the top, on which the already mentioned little church stands.
