Access to starting point:
From the highway Ljubljana - Koper we go to the exit Kozina and follow the road ahead in the direction of Reka. In Hrpelje we notice a signpost for Slavnik, which points us to the right. The road which at first runs past the industrial area soon becomes a macadam and a little higher brings us into the forest. We then follow this occasionally a little worse road to a marked parking lot near the hunting lodge Pod Glavico.
Route description:
From the parking lot, we continue on the left "main" road which after approximately 15 minutes of walking brings us to an unmarked crossroad. We continue slightly left (slightly right Slavnik and Grmada) on the road which starts barely descending. After a few minutes of additional walking the road for a short time ascends and then starts considerably descending. During the descent we will get to a signpost, which points us to the left in the forest (here we step on a marked path, which comes from Hrpelje). We continue the ascent through the forest on a moderately ascending footpath which after 10 minutes of walking brings us to the summit.
