Kloster (Reinischwirt) - Gasthaus Zur Rehbockhütte

Access to starting point:
a) We leave the motorway MP Šentilj - Graz at the Lebring exit, then follow the signs for Lonč / Deutschlandsberg. When we arrive in Lonč, we follow the signs for Hebalm, then we start visibly ascending towards the Hebalm ski area. When we reach the settlements of St. Oswald and Freiland, we turn sharply right towards the settlement of Salleg and the panoramic road Bad Gamser Panoramastraße. Next follows a traverse to the right, which we do along a narrower road; when we reach the junction where the road sharply branches off to the left towards the organic farm Reinischwirt, the described path begins. At the starting point there are no designated parking spaces, but it is possible to park in a suitable spot by the road, of course without obstructing anyone.
b) From the motorway Klagenfurt am Wörthersee - Graz, we take the Packsattel exit, then follow the signs for Klagenfurt, Deutschlandsberg and Preitenegg. Next follows some descent, then we turn left from the main road towards Lonč and Hebalm. Continuing on, we start ascending again and higher up we reach the Hebalm ski area, but we continue driving a little further, so we already start descending towards Lonč. When we reach the settlements of St. Oswald and Freiland, we turn left towards the settlement of Salleg and the panoramic road Bad Gamser Panoramastraße. Next follows a traverse to the right along a narrower road; when we reach the junction where the road sharply branches off to the left towards the organic farm Reinischwirt, the described path begins. Path description:
From the spot where we parked, we first walk to the farm Reinischwirt and continue straight in the direction of Schrogentor (to the right Reinischkogel). After the farm, we cross a grazing fence and continue walking on an initially still panoramic road; after the bench, the road turns sharply to the right and enters the forest, where it then turns back to the left. Then follows a few minutes of traverse ascent, higher up we go left at two junctions, after the trough with water we reach a marked junction, from which we continue straight (right Reinischkogel).
A little further we leave the forest and arrive at the hut located below the Schrogentor saddle, the saddle itself is only a few minutes ahead.
Between the hut and the saddle, from a smaller junction we go slightly left and after crossing the grazing fence enter the forest. Next follows a shorter ascent and then a gentle descent through the forest, where the path leads along a cart track; when we reach a poorer road we reach the next junction, from which we go straight in the direction of the huts Freiländerhütte and Rehbockhütte (left St. Oswald and Freiland).
Next follows a somewhat longer, fairly steep traverse ascent along a cart track road, higher up after a short panoramic section the path flattens and we reach a wider macadam road, which we follow straight, or slightly right (slightly left leads a longer path along the summit Schwarzkogel). Next follows some more gentle ascent along an again more panoramic section, then we reach the area of construction of new wind power plants, where we keep to the left directions (at the marked junction right Modriach and Großofen), later we reach a noticeably wider road, from which we soon go left towards the nearby hut Freiländerhütte.
From the hut we return along the access road to a somewhat wider road and follow it left, then at two smaller junctions continue straight. A few minutes further at the self-service bar we go slightly right onto the parallel hiking path and descend a bit. When the path flattens we soon return to the road, along which we continue all the way to the hut Rehbockhütte.
