Kloster (Reinischwirt) - Reinischkogel-Kapelle

Access to starting point:
a) Highway MP Šentilj - Graz we leave at exit Lebring, and then we follow the signs for Lonč / Deutschlandsberg. When we arrive in Lonč, we follow the signs for Hebalm, and then we start visibly ascending towards the Hebalm ski slope. When we reach the settlements of St. Oswald and Freiland, we turn sharply right towards the settlement of Salleg and the panoramic road Bad Gamser Panoramastraße. Next, we traverse to the right along a narrower road, and upon reaching a crossroad where the road sharply branches off to the left towards the organic farm Reinischwirt, the described path begins. At the starting point, there are no designated parking spaces, but it is possible to park in a suitable spot by the road, ensuring we do not obstruct anyone.
b) From the highway Klagenfurt am Wörthersee - Graz, we take the exit Packsattel, and then we follow the signs for Klagenfurt, Deutschlandsberg, and Preitenegg. Next follows some descent, and then we turn left from the main road towards Lonč and Hebalm. Further on, we start ascending again and higher up we reach the Hebalm ski slope, but we continue driving a little further, so we already start descending towards Lonč. When we reach the settlements of St. Oswald and Freiland, we turn left towards the settlement of Salleg and the panoramic road Bad Gamser Panoramastraße. Next, we traverse to the right along a narrower road, and upon reaching a crossroad where the road sharply branches off to the left towards the organic farm Reinischwirt, the described path begins. Path description:
From the spot where we've parked, we first walk to the farm Reinischwirt, where the path splits.
We continue right in the direction of Reinischkogel (straight ahead lies Schrogentor), and above the farm the path enters the forest, where we bypass a small pond. Further on, at several junctions we follow the markings or signs for Reinischkogel, and during the ascent we cross a forest road a few times. Higher up, the forest begins to thin, and after a wayside shrine erected in memory of a boy who died, we mostly ascend along a grassy slope surrounded by forest. The path ahead turns slightly left and in a few minutes of further walking ascends moderately to the chapel Reinischkogel-Kapelle, while the cross is just a few steps beyond.
The highest point of Reinischkogel lies about ten minutes further on an indistinct forested summit, reached by a faint unmarked trail.
