Access to starting point:
We drive to Gederovci (to here from Radenci or Murska Sobota) and continue driving in the direction of Kuzma. Further on, we drive through Cankovo, and when we get to the settlement Krašči, we turn right in the direction of Ledavsko Lake. The path ahead leads us on an embankment south of the lake; when we leave the embankment, we get to the parking lot at the information boards, where we park.
Path description:
At the parking lot, signs for Bernardina pot point us towards the lake; after some 10 steps we reach it, then we continue right. The path ahead leads us directly by the lake, from where beautiful views open up on the lake and surroundings. The path along which there are some information boards brings us a little further to a macadam road, along which the path by the lake continues. The road a little ahead turns right and moves away from the lake, where behind the football field we arrive at an intersection with the asphalt road.
We continue straight on the side road in the direction of Bernardina pot (left shorter path around the lake) and start to ascend on a narrower asphalt road. Higher up, a nice view opens up on Ledavsko Lake; a little further ahead we go left at the intersection. A little further, we continue straight and go past a few more houses, then go left. There follows only a little ascent, after which we start to descend more steeply. Lower down, we keep to the right directions; when we arrive at the intersection by the cross, we go left. After the intersection, the road flattens; at the next intersection we join the shorter path that leads around the lake. Here we go right and first cross the stream Lukaj, after which we go left, then also cross the river Ledava. There follow a few minutes of easy walking, then past a few houses we reach the main road Cankova - Rogašovci, which we follow left, walking along it to the nearby fire station in Ropoča.
At the fire station we go right onto a side road that starts ascending among fields; higher up, at a few houses, it turns left and ascends through a strip of forest. When we leave the forest, a shorter ascent follows and we arrive at the chapel of the Heart of Jesus in Ropoča.
After the chapel we go left and continue to the nearby cemetery, where we go straight (left descends to the main road). Along the mentioned road we walk only a short time more, then go left onto a side road by which there are signs for Bernardina pot. A steeper descent follows, passing the fire station-village hall of Krašči; when we reach the main road lower down, we go right and then left in the direction of Ledavsko Lake.
The path ahead leads us along the embankment of Ledavsko Lake; when the embankment ends, we return to the parking lot where we started the path.
