Access to starting point:
From highway Ljubljana - Novo Mesto we go to the exit Ivančna Gorica and we continue driving in the direction of village Krka. We continue driving through the village towards the church, where at the crossroad just by the church we stick to the main road in the direction of Laze nad Krko or Grosuplje (straight!). Approximately 80 meters after the crossroad, we park right by the main road on a settled asphalt parking lot.
Path description:
We follow the main road in the direction of "Laze nad Krko" for approximately 100 meters and we first time notice green-white blazes (they mark the circular path PRIJETNO DOMAČE of municipality Ivančna Gorica and we follow them a larger part of the path to the top), which we follow through the village on the paths among houses. Once we cross the main asphalt road and only when we come to the road the second time, we turn right and we follow it approx. 300 meters more, and the blazes lead us left into the forest. The path leads us on forest-macadam path, and after approx 10 minutes past few houses, and then mostly on the forest-macadam path. The path is all the time well-settled and marked with green-white blazes and occasional wooden signs "Krka-Ambrus", which are part of the earlier mentioned circular path. Past few warning signs "Dežela medveda" (land of bear) after approximately 40 minutes we again get to houses (settlement Laze nad Krko) and when we get to an asphalt road we follow it to the right approximately 350 meters, and the blazes (first time for "Vrh Korinj") lead right back in the forest. We follow the path past the meadows and forests all the way to the ruins of the church right below the peak and on the very peak. Right below the peak, there is an inscription book with a stamp, and we can barely find the peak (on the highest rock, it is written "Vrh"). Past the bushes and trees a view is opening up on an ample surrounding forests, on neighbouring village Mali and Veliki Korinj and towards Ivančna Gorica. We can return on the same path or on the main road from Laze nad Krko towards Krka.
