Krog - Tri učke

Access to starting point:
From the Ljubljana - Koper highway, take the Črni Kal exit. From Črni Kal, continue driving on the old road towards the coast, but we drive along it only to the next somewhat larger crossroad, where we turn left in the direction of the Sočerga border crossing. On the mentioned road, we drive past the place Kubed to the village Gračišče, where at the crossroad we turn left in the direction of Rakitovec, Movraž and Smokvica. From Gračišče we drive to the village Movraž, and there we turn right in the direction of Dvori. Before the village Dvori we come to the next crossroad, where we continue sharply right (left Dvori), and on the road we drive a few more 100 meters to the hiking signposts, which we see beside the road. We park at a suitable place beside the hiking signposts.

Path description:
On the opposite side of the road from the signposts for the natural bridge and church of St. Kirik, we notice the beginning of the footpath that leads to Lačna. Initially we walk on a gentle cart track, or wide path, which quickly turns into a dense strip of bushes, then the blazes direct us slightly right onto a steep little path, along which we quickly ascend to a wide and partly rocky cart track. The ascent then continues for some time along the mentioned cart track, which first rises above the village Dvori, then gradually turns slightly left, where it completely flattens higher up. This is followed by a short traverse of panoramic grassy slopes, from which a nice view opens onto Movraška vala and the village Movraž. The cart track brings us a little further to another cart track, where at the junction we continue right, and we ascend along it to the nearby asphalt road.
We only cross the mentioned road and continue in the same direction, continuing the ascent along the macadam road. The macadam road leads us further across karst meadows surrounded by numerous pines, it gradually narrows and higher joins a wider macadam road. We follow the road to the left, and it quickly flattens. The road, with a view of Lipnik and Kavčič, quickly brings us to the next crossroad, where we again continue along the left road. Walking follows along a gentle road, which a little further crosses the peripheral strip of a pine forest, and immediately after that forest we leave the marked path (road) and continue the ascent along a poorly visible path, which in a barely perceptible ascent after 3 minutes of further walking brings us to the 499-meter-high peak above the karst cave Tri učke.
