We leave Pomurska highway at exit Lenart v Slov. goricah, if we come from the direction of Maribor, and at exit Sv. Trojica v Slov. goricah, if we come from the direction of Murska Sobota, and then we drive to the center of Lenart, where we park on one of the parking lots.
The beginning of described path is by the parish church of St. Lenart at Liberation Square.
Path description:
From the Liberation Square we go on the path in the direction of Zavrh, where we at first walk on a sidewalk, and then we go from the main road right downwards, where we still walk on a sidewalk.
When only a little lower the road turns right it splits.
We continue straight following the signs Pot na Zavrh (to the right leads the marked path on Zavrh) and we are still descending. When the road stops descending, we leave it and we continue slightly right, where on the left side we bypass Račji gaj.
We continue on the left bank of the stream Globovnica, where we go at first past the cottage of Fishing family Pesnica-Lenart, and then we continue on a grassy path which leads us just by the stream. A little further we over the bridge cross the mentioned stream and on the other side of the stream, we go left. This gently sloping path we then follow to the nearby lake, from which a nice view opens up on surroundings.
We few minutes continue on the embankment by the lake, and then from the embankment we descend on the right side and we continue through the underpass below the highway. On the other side of the underpass we reach a macadam road which we follow a little to the left, after that at the next crossroads we continue straight or we stick to the right direction. After crossing the river Pesnica we reach an asphalt road, where we go right. We soon go past the first chapel, where we continue straight, and at the crossroad few 10 meters before the next chapel we go on the left road, by which we notice signs for Zavrh. Next follows an ascent on a narrower asphalt road which quickly brings us to the settlement Gradenšak, where we go sharply right. A little higher we reach the marked path Gočova - Zavrh, and then at few next crossroads we follow the blazes. All the time asphalthed road then past the stamp brings us to the lookout tower on Zavrh.
