Access to starting point:
We leave the Pomurska motorway at the Lendava exit, and then we follow the signs to Lendava center. When we get to Lendava, we drive past the Hofer store, Lendava veterinary station, Lidl store, Petrol gas station, Špar store, M Tehnika store to the roundabout, from which we take the exit towards Dolga vas. There follows a drive through the center of Lendava, while we head to TIC Lendava or the parish church of St. Catherine of Alexandria. We park on one of the parking lots nearby.
Path description:
From TIC Lendava, where we already notice the first blazes, we start slightly ascending through a smaller park, which is situated to the right of the church. After a short ascent, we reach an asphalt road, along which we quickly arrive at a marked crossroad.
From the crossroad, we continue slightly left onto a side road in the direction of the castle (right Sveta Trojica and a lookout tower), then after the parking lot we turn left twice and ascend to Lendava Castle.
