From Mežica, border crossing Holmec or Ravne na Koroškem, we drive to Prevalje, from there we continue driving towards the settlement Leše. When we get to Leše, we drive to ŠD Leše, where we park at an appropriate place.
Path description:
From the sports field we continue on the asphalt road which ascends through the village. At the junctions we follow the road by taking the slightly left branches; when the asphalt ends, we continue left on a cart track which ascends a panoramic grassy slope. The cart track then for some time continues under or along the route of the high-voltage power line, higher it turns right and brings us past a smaller hamlet to the registration box and a few steps ahead to both Leše churches.
In front of the churches we continue left on a footpath which higher enters the forest, then after a short ascent it joins a macadam road. On the road we ascend easily and already after a few tens of meters we arrive at a marked junction, where we continue on the slightly left road in the direction of Volinjak and the path to the mysterious world of Žal žen (right Prapar and Stovčnik). The path ahead first continues through the forest, then past a watering place and along an extensive pasture. Somewhat higher the road brings us to a smaller hamlet at the Hermanko farm, where on one of the buildings we notice the inscription Volinjak, we however continue on the road by which we arrive at a junction a few minutes distant, beside which there is a larger masonry chapel.
From the junction we continue straight on the road which continues on the left side of the chapel (slightly right road leading to Mežica, sharply right footpath to Volinjak). After a few tens of steps a marked path to Mežica branches off to the right downwards, we continue on the macadam road towards the Andrej homestead. The path ahead leads us past the Andrej homestead, then continues first on the western and then on the southern side of Andrejev vrh. Before the Najevnik homestead we reach a smaller saddle, beside which there is a chapel; beside it we leave the macadam road and continue sharply left on the path which starts to ascend the ridge. We follow this path all the way to Andrejev vrh a few minutes distant.
