Liboje (Liko) - Sveta Neža (Liboje)

Access to starting point:
To the starting point, we can drive from the A1 highway, where we choose the Žalec exit. In the roundabout, we choose the exit towards Arja vas. We drive towards the settlement past the Mlekarna Celeia dairy. When we arrive in Arja vas, we drive on the main road all the way to the large traffic-light intersection. We drive straight into Petrovče. We cross a railway track and drive past the church. When we come out of Petrovče, we soon arrive in Kasaze. We follow the main road and soon arrive in Liboje. When we drive through three quarters of the settlement, on the right side we notice a wooden signpost towards the hill and the church of St. Neža. We drive a little further past the signpost for Košnica pri Celju and past the company Liko, d.d. On the left, we also drive past a large residential house. Immediately after the end of the settlement and the Liboje settlement sign, we can park on a large macadam by the road. We are at the starting point.

Path description:
From the macadam parking lot, we go back on the road to Liboje. Be careful of traffic. Soon we come to an intersection, which leads straight in our direction, right towards Košnica pri Celju. There we also notice the markings of the Slovenian touring-cycling trail to Šmohor. The marking is blue with a white line in the middle. We walk straight ahead on the sidewalk of the main road. We go past the company Liko. Soon thereafter, we again notice a wooden signpost for Sveta Neža. It leads us left up the hill. We go on the road and observe nice meadows in the surroundings. After a few meters, we notice the church and the presbytery. To there we have approximately 10 more minutes of walking uphill. The road is slightly winding and has public lighting. Soon we get to the chapel, church and the top of the hill, where there is the already mentioned presbytery.
We can look around and enjoy a nice day. To the top we can also come by car.
