Liboje - Planinski dom na Brnici

Access to starting point:
From the highway Ljubljana - Maribor we go to the exit Žalec and then we drive towards Arja vas. At the crossroad at the end of the village, we continue straight in the direction of Liboje. In Liboje we turn left in the direction of Košnice pri Celju and we follow the road to the mountain signposts for the mountain hut Dom na Brnicah. Near the beginning of the footpath there are no appropriate parking spots, therefore we park on some somewhat more distant parking spot by the road.

Path description:
The mountain signposts direct us towards the north on a macadam road, from which after a few steps a marked footpath branches off to the left. The path ahead ascends through a panoramic meadow, and then goes into the forest, where it moderately ascends. The path in the forest changes into a cart track which after a short ascent brings us to the road, which we follow to the left. This slightly ascending road we follow to the mountain hut Dom na Brnici.
