Lipa - Dom planincev Farbanca

Access to starting point:
From the highway Ljubljana - Celje we go to the Vransko exit. We continue driving on the old road in the direction of Ljubljana, but only to the spot where the road towards Vransko branches off to the right. On the west side of Vransko we will notice a road which goes towards the villages Prapreče and Vologa. We follow the road that then starts ascending more steeply through the village Vologa to the saddle Lipa, where we park on one of the parking lots.
Access from the Zadrečka dolina valley is also possible.

Path description:
From the saddle Lipa we go on a footpath in the direction of St. Jošt. The path which runs on a cart track at the beginning steeply ascends, after that the steepness decreases a little. Next follows a diagonal ascent through the forest on the path which after good 20 minutes of walking brings us to an unmarked crossing. Here we leave the marked and relatively steep cart track and continue sharply left on a partly overgrown cart track which after 3 minutes of additional walking brings us to a forest road (if we miss the mentioned cart track we can join the mentioned road also a little higher).
When we step on the road we follow it to the left (right St. Jošt). The road at first runs almost horizontally, then it starts descending more noticeably and after a while joins another gentler road. We continue right (or straight) on the road which soon brings us to the next crossroad. Again we continue straight (sharply right St. Jošt and Tolsti vrh) on the road which a little later makes a long left turn. We then follow the road that ahead mostly descends gently all the way to the mountain hut Dom planincev Farbanca.
