Livške Ravne - Bivak Zanuso na Kolovratu

Access to starting point:
From the Tolmin - Bovec road, at the village of Idrsko, turn onto the road towards the village of Livek. Continue on the ascending road to the mentioned village, where at the intersection turn left towards Livške Ravne. From Livške Ravne, drive a bit further and then park at a slightly larger parking lot, next to which there is also a table with two benches.

Route description:
From the parking lot, continue on the asphalt road, from which after about 10 m turn right onto the gravel road, along which we walk in a few minutes to the information board, where we also join the marked path coming from the Italian side. We follow the road, which from here becomes asphalt, for a very short time, then the signs for the Walk of Peace and the Nagnoj peak direct us sharply left onto the ascending footpath. The path soon turns right, then quickly brings us to the top of Nagnoj in a traverse ascent.
From Nagnoj, continue on the well-trodden path, which after a short descent and transitional ascent brings us to the eastern subpeak of Nagnoj. The path continues gently descending for a few more minutes, then the slope and the path begin to descend more noticeably. At the end of the descent, we reach the Italian road, along which we walk a few steps to the Bivak Zanuso.
