Access to starting point:
First, we drive to Lokve (to here from Nova Gorica or Most na Soči), and then we continue driving in the direction of Predmeja. When we come to a larger meadow, where at the crossroads we notice numerous signposts, we are on Mala Lazna.
Access from Predmeja is also possible.
Path description:
From Mala Lazna we head to the forest road in the direction of the Velika ledena jama cave in Paradana. The road quickly goes into the forest, where it then continues with some shorter ascents and descents. After approximately 15 minutes of walking, a marked path branches off to the right towards the Iztokova koča mountain hut, and we continue on the road, which a little further brings us to signs for the Velika ledena jama cave.
At the signs for the Velika ledena jama cave we leave the road and continue walking on at first a wide path which starts descending towards the cave. Lower, the path narrows and with the help of some fixed safety gear descends to the entrance into the cave.
