Access to starting point:
From the highway Ljubljana - Celje we go to the exit Žalec and follow the road ahead towards Žalec. In Žalec we continue right towards Šempeter, but only to a crossroad, where the road towards Griže and Zabukovica branches off to the left. When we reach the village Migojnice, we park on a large parking lot in the middle of the village.
Route description:
From the parking lot, we head onto the road in the direction of Bukovica (road on the left side of NOB monument). The road, after a few dozen steps, brings us to a crossroad at the chapel, where we continue right (unmarked). We follow this road, which is gently ascending, to the last house in the village, from where we continue slightly left on a marked footpath which starts ascending through the forest. A nice forest path, which occasionally ascends quite steeply, brings us a little below the summit to a newly built cart track, which we follow to the mountain hut Dom na Bukovici.

Nice pleasant trip, if you speed up a bit you can even get inspired. Friendly caretaker, nice view.
